We have a place: The Rio, Las Vegas, Nevada

Registration? Coming soon!

If you’d like to attend the 2016 RT Book Blogger Con, please drop your email address here, and we’ll alert you when the registration is live!

So many bloggers attend RT each year that it’s excellent opportunity to talk with one another about the issues we face, large and small, and to learn from one another.

We hope you’ll join us and share your ideas and perspective. It won’t be awesome without you.

Please note that the order of the following events is subject to change.

11:00 – Luncheon & Introductions

12:00 – Best Practices for Content, Collaboration, and Creativity (Sarah & Jay)

Bring a tip or a question – or both! In our first session, we’ll discuss blog tours and guest spots, scheduling, reviews and reviewers, peak activity days during the week, and more. Much of this session will be determined by your questions and ideas, so come ready to build a most excellent collaborative discussion.

12:45 – Business, Revenue, and Monetizing Your Blog: Ads, Affiliate, Business Operation

If you’re wondering how to use affiliate options, or how to start running advertisements, we’ll answer your questions and share tips and ideas on how you can monetize your blog now, or someday in the future.

1:30 – Break

1:45 – Technology Tips – Rachel Rivera from Parajunkee

Rachel Rivera from Parajunkee is a book blogger, graphic designer, and keeper of a treasure trove of tips and instructional suggestions for book bloggers. She’ll share ideas on getting and staying organized, running great content, and improving your book blog.

3:15 – Snack

3:30 – Working with Publishers: Q&A with publicists, and learning about new books for 2015 (Erin Galloway, PenguinRandomHouse; Ariel Tachna, Dreamspinner Press; Jessie Edwards, Avon HarperCollins)

What happens when you receive an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) from a publisher? What are their expectations? What are yours? This panel will feature publishing professionals in marketing and publicity who have years of experience working with bloggers. They’ll answer candid questions and opportunities for discussion. Plus, they’re going to bring an ARC of an upcoming book they’re very excited about for everyone present, so you can take a copy home. This is one of the most informative and fun panels of the day.

5:00 – Cocktail Hour (Sponsored Most Excellently by Harlequin)

Yum. Also, delicious. And possibly wine. Cheers!
